Chicken and Mushrooms in A Garlic White Wine Sauce

Chicken and Mushrooms in a Garlic White Wine Sauce

Ingredients:
8 chicken tenderloins, 16 oz total
2 tsp butter
2 tsp olive oil
1/4 cup all purpose flour* (use rice flour if gluten free)
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
12 oz sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup white wine
1/3 cup fat free chicken broth
salt and fresh pepper to taste
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions:
Preheat oven to 200°. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Lightly dredge in flour.

Heat a large skillet on medium heat; when hot add 1 tsp butter and 1 tsp olive oil. Add chicken to the skillet and cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side, or until chicken is no longer pink. Set aside in a warm oven.

Add additional oil and butter to the skillet, then garlic and cook a few seconds; add mushrooms, salt and pepper stirring occasionally until golden, about 5 minutes.

Add wine, chicken broth, parsley; stir the pan with a wooden spoon breaking up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Cook a few more minutes or until the liquid reduces by half. Top the chicken with the mushroom sauce and serve.

*I only used 1 tbsp of flour and tossed the rest, so calculations were for 1 tbsp flour only.

Hey everyone here is my latest update and want to share with you all! Free to use!
This is me Marsha and this is the end of my 3rd 90 day Challenge!!
So far I'm down 89 lbs. !!!
here are my beginning measurement's and my today measurement's
Starting Now Amount lost
waist- 61 in 45.8 in -15.2 in
hips- 54.1 in 47.6 in -6.5 in
chest- 50.1 in 42 in -8.1 in
With all the other measurement's I take I've lost a total of 50" all over!
I had hit a plateau after my last 90 day challenge and it picked up after I started taking my walks again. I honestly don't know where I'd be today if I haven't giving Skinny Fiber a try, with that and dedication, determination and self control I've come this far and I'm not done just yet!
Before Skinny fiber I would of never been able to get up and walk far the back pain I was suffering didn't allow me to get far before it took me out. My legs were swollen which made it that much harder to get around. I would get shortness of breath and would have to stop to catch my breath. As far as my sleep apnea I haven't been back to have another sleep study test but I can say I sleep through the night without waking up struggling to breath and no longer wake up with headaches. Also I find myself waking up on my back which anyone with sleep apnea will tell you is a no no when you have it. So with that said if I had to take a guess I would say that's gone or way under control! I sleep great at night don't even need sleep aids to get there!
Here are a list of things that since I've been on skinny fiber hasn't bothered me since a week after or no more than a month later just totally stopped bothering me.
My Arthritis in my spine - week later which made it possible to get around
IBS
Sleep - within a week or two was taking sleeping pills just to be able to fall asleep.
Swelling in my legs- left after a month right after a couple months
Headaches/Migraines after a couple weeks and got over the detox.
I'm off my Cholesterol pills, high blood pressure pills, any and all pain pills, water pills and there are more I can't remember I was on a total of 8 and now only take one for my restless leg syndrome . I can say the restless leg syndrome don't bother me much unless I don't get much sleep!
No more Cramps! (PMS) not even the mood swings that come with it!
Ok I know there is more and I'm just forgetting but I covered a lot that I'm thankful that's gone since I've started my journey with Skinny Fiber.
With that said here is my update! I'm still a work in progress!
Oh and before I forget Hubby Started with me in January of this year and is down 26 lbs.!!!!
Just an FYI I will be starting my 4th 90 Day Challenge as I'm still a work in progress and have a ways to go! I absolutely love skinny fiber and what it has done for me!!

Meet Kim

This is the beautiful Kim:
"I remember going to the doctor and when I stepped on the scale I just about died at the number I saw... I have NEVER weighed that much in my lifetime... So after that doctor appointment I decided I was going to diet... Yes, that word... "Diet"... I cut back on what I ate... I was hungry ALL OF THE TIME during this phase... In a couple months I had lost about 7 pounds... Not much for having been hungry all of the time... Then guess what... It started creeping back on... So, I started again... I succeeded in losing about 12 pounds, total... And yes... I was hungry all of the time... I felt like I was missing some of my favorite foods...

Carrot Cake Overnight Protein Oatmeal
Ingredients
3/4 cup Unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
1/2 cup Plain low fat Greek yogurt (or mashed banana, applesauce or pumpkin)
1/2 cup Grated carrots (I used one large carrot)
1/4 tsp Salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Apple pie spice
2 tbs Baking stevia (or 1/4 cup sweetener) 1
1 cup Old fashioned oats
1/4 cup Protein powder (or additional oats)
Optional: Toppings of choice
1 Or 1-3 pkts stevia, or sweetener of choice to taste.
Method
THE ESTIMATED TOTAL TIME TO MAKE THIS RECIPE IS 5-10 MINUTES.

In a small bowl, mix all of the ingredients together. Divide between 2 small bowls, mugs, or mason jars. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or for at least an hour (or more) so the oats soften and absorb the liquid). Top with chopped nuts, cinnamon, low sugar syrup, or vanilla Greek yogurt if desired! Enjoy cold, or enjoy warm!

But Federal Trade Commission officials said Tuesday the company used bogus clinical studies and paid endorsements to rack up more than $364 million in sales between 2008 and 2012.

The FTC will also collect $7.3 million from LeanSpa, a company that promotes acai berry and "colon cleanse" weight loss supplements through fake news websites. Also swept up in Tuesday's action are skin cream maker L'Occitane and HCG Diet Direct, which sells unproven hormones for weight loss. The companies will together return about $34 million to consumers to settle the federal charges.

Meet Shannon

Okay everyone...my first 90 day challenge is complete and I am starting the next 90 days! I feel great about my progress and I am so glad I took my before an after pictures and my measurements because I sure can see and feel the difference!!!

This is what I've noticed since I began taking Skinny Fiber...
-I eat less at meal time because I'm less hungry
-I don't crave sweet, salty or high carb foods in between meals
-I have more energy during the day
-I sleep better at night and feel more rested
-I'm happier and I have a more positive attitude about the way I look

Macaroni and Cheese Casserole

Yield: 6-9 servings
2 cups dry elbow pasta, cooked
1 cup chopped kale (or substitute spinach)
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp oil
3 Tbsp flour
¼ cup chopped green pepper
1 Tbsp dehydrated onion flakes
1 clove garlic, minced
¼ tsp dry dill weed
½ tsp red pepper flakes
½ tsp seasoning salt
1 carrot, diced
2 cups skim milk
1 ¼ cup cheese (equal parts cheddar and mozzarella + ¼ cup parm)
1 ½ c cooked turkey / chicken, diced or shredded
½ cup green peas, frozen
7-8 saltine crackers

Preheat oven to 350° F. Cook pasta and kale in boiling water til al dente – meanwhile, heat butter and oil in a sauce pan. Add flour, green pepper, onion flakes, garlic, dill and red pepper flakes. Stir and cook for a couple of minutes. Add seasoning salt, carrot and milk. Whisk until smooth and allow to thicken, stirring occasionally. Add cheese and stir to combine. If mixture is too thick, add a little pasta water to thin to ‘cream of soup’ consistency. Add turkey, stir – add peas, stir and place in an 8x8 cooking dish. Top with crushed saltine crackers. Cook for 15 minutes or til lightly browned on the top ~ My son calls this “Wow Mac n Cheese”… either name will work!

Chandra

I posted the other week about my weight loss and that I was in a size 16 jeans. Yesterday I weighed myself and it is official that I have now lost 55 pounds since starting SF on June 10, 2013. The inches is what amazes me the most at 51.625 inches lost. That is 4 FEET 3 INCHES OF FAT!!!!! I had to put my jeans on today and thought "oh no they are not going to fit with this back brace on" Well they did fit and they were still a little lose not tight. Next step is a size 14! The pic is from 10-4 but I will post another one next month.
