Fat Flush Recipe/Detox Recipe

This is definitely one of my favorite Fat Flushes
FAT FLUSH WATER
If you can't have grapefruit, use lemon. If you can't find Tangerine, use an Orange.

You should drink at least three 8 oz glasses per day, they say the longer it sits, the better it tastes. You can eat them as well but they are intended as flavoring and still work, so that is a personal choice. The Vitamin C turns fat into fuel, the tangerine increases your sensitivity to insulin, and the cucumber makes you feel full. Try it for 10 days and see what you think!
Ingredients per Pitcher
Water
1 whole sliced grapefruit or lemon
1 tangerine or orange
½ cucumber, sliced
2 peppermint leaves or a small handful of any mint
Ice – as much as you like
Directions
Wash grapefruit, tangerine cucumber and peppermint leaves. Slice cucumber, grapefruit and tangerine (or peel). Combine all ingredients (fruits, vegetables, 8 oz water, and ice) into a large pitcher.
Stir & Enjoy!
My personal preference: I peel the citrus fruit so I dont have the bitter taste of the peel! Each person should try it and see which way they like it best.

Change Your 'Fitness Age' in 5 Easy Steps

How is it possible that 93-year-old Jon Mendes was able to compete in the New York City marathon on Sunday, but people decades younger couldn't dream of running 26.2 miles? Perhaps the near-centenarian’s "fitness age" hasn’t incereased at the same rate as his senior citizen status indicates. So how do you defy the logic of aging when you’re secretly trapped in a teenager’s body (or vice versa)? Pretty easily, in fact. 

If you find yourself in a "Freaky Friday" kind of situation and want to turn back the hands of time, here are some tips from top fitness instructor Kimberly Neumann of Equinox: 

  • Just do it. “One of the top excuses for not working out is just not having enough time. People don’t realize how much fitness they can pack in their day.” She suggests making substitutions: Instead of sipping on a highly caloric latte for a pick-me-up during a midafternoon break, run up and down the stairs at work.  “You’d be surprised at the energy boost,” she says.
  • Up the ante. Increase the intensity of your workout by sweating and pushing yourself a little more. “Frequency and intensity are two variables that you have within your capability to alter.” Don’t think your body can stand one more second on the treadmill? Just remember 93-year-old marathoner Mr. Mendes...
  • Think of exercise as eye cream. Just as products can turn back the beauty biological clock, fitness can have the same Benjamin Button-like effect. “The reality is if you can consider fitness as an antiaging technique, then maybe you can make it more readily part of your routine.”
  • Be zen. One of the factors for figuring out fitness age is having a normal resting heart rate — a regular one ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute. “By meditating, you can do your body some good by lowering stress levels.” 
  • Decrease stress. Take some deep breaths and a bunch of chill pills. “Cortisol will cause you to hold weight around your waistline, and one of the contributing factors for fitness age is waist circumference."

I posted the other week about my weight loss and that I was in a size 16 jeans. Yesterday I weighed myself and it is official that I have now lost 55 pounds since starting SF on June 10, 2013. The inches is what amazes me the most at 51.625 inches lost. That is 4 FEET 3 INCHES OF FAT!!!!! I had to put my jeans on today and thought "oh no they are not going to fit with this back brace on" Well they did fit and they were still a little lose not tight. Next step is a size 14! The pic is from 10-4 but I will post another one next month.

Hello this is Jayla and I am updating my progress on Skinny Fiber. The before picture is me when I first started Skinny Fiber July 2013. I was sick off and on I just decided to skip that month. So I am counting from August 2013-October 2013. I have lost 25 inches total. I am now in my 18 day of my 90 day challenge which I am being consistent. I don't know how much pounds I lost because I can't stand looking at the scale. It feels good to see that my stomach is going down. I owe it all to Skinny Fiber, cause I still eat what I want. Just not much of it. I am excited to see what my 90 day actually bring with me being consistent.

Skinny Fiber Results

Robyn says... "28 days and still coming down. Here is a lesson in not taking the scale too seriously. 3 days ago, I was at just over 321 lbs. Today I'm at just over 325. I also know that last night I was retaining water a bit, and I have not yet done my business this morning. I have, however, lost a FREAKING 22 INCHES! I want to introduce my husband Uriel. The first picture was when it started, the center is at 30 days and the last was yesterday, at 60 days. In our orthodox jewish culture we dont know the words 'diet' or 'gym'. It was a hard work to do he take the SF. He said he did to me a favor but he was not going to weigh and measure because, he said, 'is all lie', just I could to take the pictures. I swore I was never going to post one of these. But with this kind of amazing success, how can I not share it with my friends and family and the world! Today marks 30 days since I started Skinny Fiber on August 18th. While I am only down 2.5 pounds I am proud to say that I am down 17 inches off of my physique!
